Linzi is an arts practitioner and maker. She has worked in a diverse range of educational settings with outcomes in clay, print & painting mediums, and has worked professionally as a song writing and in children’s theatre.

‘I believe shared arts experiences make a real and lasting difference, not only for those who are involved in sharing the making, but also in the wider community’.

Linzi has worked in large inner London schools, SEN settings, she was an Arts Officer for Groundwork, and she has taught in schools in the Midlands.

’The most moving teaching experience I had was leading an international arts project working with over 100 students from 3 schools in Banda Ache, Sumatra, who had been orphaned during the Tsunami. The student’s enthusiasm and love and commitment to learning made my time in Sumatra a total joy, considering the nightmare they had lived through, they were absolutely wonderful’.

Linzi is currently working towards her MA in Contemporary Craft at Hereford College of Arts, and recently exhibited at the Shed Gallery, Oriel Llanteglos Gallery, Workhouse Gallery and Narberth Pottery. She is a Creative Practitioner for Meadow Arts. Her work will be exhibited in this year @ The Shed Gallery, Presteigne Open Arts, H-Art @ The Bleddfa Centre, and a new exhibition @ The Bleddfa Arts Centre opening this December.

Linzi now lives and works from her studio on The Welsh Borders.

Linzi works in Community radio, presenting and devising The Art Show, Welcombe Radio, Stratford upon Avon - 'my wish is to create an on-air, shared, creative space'.
